LIVE: Sunday Service

Hope for Our Community.
Two Ministries - One Mission

Two powerful ministries—Hope Community Church and Hope for Recovery—united by one mission: to bring hope to our community. Through outreach, schools ministry, a welcoming drop-in cafe, and more, we're building a hub where everyone belongs.

Welcome to Hope Community Church

Welcome to Hope Community Church Clydebank

HCC is part of the Apostolic Church Network (ACUK). We meet every Sunday for praise & worship and Wednesday evening for fortnightly prayer & Bible Studies, as well as our community projects throughout the week.

We hold steadfast to the truth of God's word & believe in meeting people right where they are—whether you're exploring faith, seeking community, or need support through life's challenges. Our doors are open to all, no matter your background or current circumstances.

Our History

Hope Community Church is a name change of Park Christian Fellowship, which has been serving the community of Clydebank and Christ since 28th October 1995 at 30 Shelley Drive, Parkhall, Clydebank.

Park Christian Fellowship was itself a coming together of two Clydebank churches: The Bethel Church located in Faifley and The Apostolic Church of Green Street, Clydebank. The building in Faifley burned down, probably due to an electrical failure, and the building in Green Street needed much remedial work. Since both churches had similar hearts for service and worship, it was agreed that they should merge and become one church as part of The Apostolic Church UK. The people initially met in a primary school in Faifley, and then when The Brethren Victoria Hall at 30 Shelley Drive became available due to the hall closing because of falling numbers, the building was purchased at market value. The church located there as Park Christian Fellowship.

The name change to Hope Community Church came out of a sense that the church should seek to try to bring more hope back into the heart of the community of Clydebank. That's our aim and purpose to date: that through any means possible we can offer hope to everybody and anybody we can. This we do through our Sunday worship service, Monday Hope for Recovery meetings, Wednesday 1-to-1 support service & Community walk & talk group, and Friday Community café and foodbank.
