Street Outreach

Street outreach takes place every Wednesday in Dalmuir and various locations throughout Clydebank. We believe it's important to meet people where they are at rather than waiting for them to engage with us — we go to them.

Hope Community Church first started reaching out through our partnership with Teen Challenge Strathclyde in 2008, and again in 2018 with our partnership with Street Connect. Since the launch of our own recovery Hub, Hope for Recovery, we continue to meet people in the streets weekly, handing out flyers to help raise local awareness of our services.

Our street outreach team meets people where they are, offering practical support, a listening ear, and a pathway to services. We engage with those experiencing homelessness or struggling with addiction, building trust and connecting them with housing, recovery options, and community.
